Sarah Harmer presented by Sonic Concerts

Harmer's first album in five years, oh little fire includes 10 new songs and a cover of "Silverado," written by Music Maul's Trevor Henderson, who plays lap steel on the album, and features Neko Case on back up vocals.  The album was co-produced by Harmer and Gavin Brown (Metric) and recorded in Toronto and Wolfe Island.
After departing her band Weeping Tile in the late 90's, Harmer went on to release three solo albums, including her platinum selling debut You Were Here (2000), which featured the singles "Basement Apartment" and "Don't Get Your Back Up."  All Our Names (2004) and I'm A Mountain (2005).  She appeared on Neko Case's critically-acclaimed 2009 album Middle Cyclone as well as albums by Blue Rodeo, The Weakerthans, Bruce Cockburn and The Rheostatics, among others.
On Harmer's latest album, The Globe and Mail said, "...there's not a word put out of place, not a note her clean voice misses, not a melody that fails to take you by the hand." and the Washington Post said, "...bright and contagious at times, bouyed by cleverly engaging lyrics and an unabashed pop production."
